Loch Katrine Landslip Emergency Works Scotland (Completed Date: Sep 2021)

An emergency works project to reopen the road damaged by landslips. I was the lead designer & produced the designs for the construction of temporary & permanent repairs of watercourse crossings & realignments to reopen the access road around Loch Katrine (Glasgow’s water source).

I am a Chartered Civil Engineer who specialises in watercourse/drainage design. My career has spanned many disciplines such as dams and reservoirs, surface water drainage to culverts and watercourse diversions. I have designed watercourse diversions on jobs such as the A9, A82, HS2 & Loch Katrine Landslip. I have undertaken all RRC hydromorphology training courses and am currently applying these principles in my day-to-day job as demonstrated by my project examples.
