Date:

Location:
Online

CIEEM is offering Q&A Sessions for ecologists and environmental managers across the UK who are working on Biodiversity Net Gain projects, whether for a developer, an NGO, within a local authority, or for a landowner.

Our Q&A Sessions are two hours in duration and allow each delegate to submit two questions to discuss with our experts. The questions can be technical or practical questions, and they can be about BNG in general or about the Biodiversity Metric 2.0 (or any updated version published by Natural England).

By attending, delegates will benefit from the sharing of good practice and from hearing discussions with regards to questions by other delegates. If time, delegates will be able to ask more questions.

During these Q&A sessions, we are not able to:
• Comment on any specific projects or provide technical advice on a specific planning application or legal position;
• Run through the detail of a specific biodiversity net gain assessment or metric, if the author is not on the call and willing for the assessment to be discussed;
• Provide details on the upcoming environmental legislation above and beyond what is already in the public domain.

The sessions are run by Tom Butterworth BSc, MSc, MCIEEM, Deputy Head of Ecology at WSP, and Dr Julia Baker CEnv MCIEEM, Biodiversity Technical Specialist at Balfour Beatty.
