Location:
The Royal Society of Chemistry, London

A conference to examine new developments and emerging issues in the field of sustainable P management.   The programme will give the latest EU and UK policy background.  It will then examine some of the new catchment-based approaches to managing agricultural P, concentrating on the latest findings from the demonstration test catchments and considering future risks and opportunities.

It will then give the water industry perspective – reporting on the current national trials of P removal technologies and moving beyond removal to P recycling and recovery.  It will also examine the potential need for source control measures for P in drinking water and P in food and food additives.

The final session will examine how working together at national and catchment scales can achieve the aims of more sustainable use of P and minimise pollution.
