Keynote speaker: Colin Thorne, Professor of Physical Geography at the University of Nottingham. Colin presented his work on anastomosing channels, the Stream Evolution Model and thinking outside the channel, at the RRC Conference last year. In his keynote Colin gave a brief retrospective on the last 20 years of river restoration, followed by a prospective on the next 20 years.
