Projects:
Redundant watercress beds were transformed into a biodiverse wildlife wetland, reinstating chalkstream processes and creating varied aquatic and marginal habitats. Objectives included delivering measurable Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) alongside hydrological and ecological enhancement. Specialist involvement covered restoration design, permitting, stakeholder liaison and supervision of channel creation and wetland establishment.
An agricultural pond had become heavily silted, reducing water capacity and ecological value. The objective was to restore storage, improve habitat diversity and enhance water management. Specialist involvement included site assessment, design development, preparation of specifications, securing consents, stakeholder liaison and technical oversight of works delivery.
A degraded chalk stream reach required restoration to improve morphological function, habitat diversity and aquatic connectivity. The objective was to reinstate natural channel form and processes. Specialist involvement included geomorphological assessment, design development, consenting, site supervision, installation of habitat features and oversight of precision earthworks to achieve sustainable ecological improvements.
