Exo Environmental are providing consultancy and design services for a 4 year project involving the dredging of ~50,000m3 of accumulated sediment, to maintain navigational depth within Brightlingsea Harbour, Essex. The sediment is to be beneficially reused by restoring and creating ~4ha of intertidal mudflat and saltmarsh habitat within Brightlingsea Creek.
Exo Environmental are providing consultancy service for a 2 year project involving the dredging of ~50,000m3 of accumulated sediment, to improve the water quality of Hoveton Broad, Norfolk. The sediment is to be stored on site in geotextile tubes and used to create reed bed and marsh habitat.
Exo Environmental provided monitoring and surveying services to determine the baseline conditions in a tidal estuary. This was focused on oceanography, geomorphology and sediment transport, and involved the production of a hydrodynamic model to predict potential impacts of dispersal dredging.
