Projects:
This Winterbourne chalk stream was historically straightened and disconnected from its floodplain. The scheme reinstated a natural meandering planform, reprofiled the channel, reconnected floodplain features and installed habitat elements to improve ecological condition and connectivity. On site involvement included earthworks, feature installation, turf handling and environmental compliance delivery.
Restoration of the River Ash to improve hydro-morphological condition and habitat connectivity. On site duties included channel narrowing and reprofiling, bed raising, feature installation, wetland creation and sediment control, delivered in partnership with wildlife trust partners to enhance flood resilience and biodiversity.
Restored a 900 m degraded river reach at Freelands Estate by reshaping an over-wide channel, stabilising eroded banks and creating diverse in-stream habitats. On site involvement included earthworks, equipment operation, feature placement and habitat enhancement works to improve flow dynamics and ecological function.
