The government’s goal to restore the natural environment within a generation, coupled with its proposed reforms to public payments to farmers after the UK leaves the EU, have created the possibility of a radically different policy framework for managing land and water.
The University of the Highlands and Islands' postgraduate module in Water Management will run in early 2018. This will be available through the existing MSc in Sustainable Mountain Development, as well as being available as a standalone module for those wishing to take the course as part of their continuing professional development (CPD). The fully online module will start on 29th January 2018 and will be delivered over 15 weeks.
