RRC Information Assistant - Job Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised, environmentally minded individual with relevant qualifications, ideally with a degree in a related physical sciences or environmental subject, or with experience in this type of role.   You should have an understanding of river management and the natural environment, ideally with awareness of UK environmental legislation and current priorities. The role will require a good standard of written and spoken English to confidently communicate, together with an aptitude for IT. You need the ability to work well with others, follow instructions and solve problems.

The purpose of the job is to support the work of the RRC with the Information Officer and the Technical Team to collect, draft and upload information to databases, the website and to catalogue reports, etc. To support the Information Officer with production of the monthly bulletins, web news pages and social media feeds. To provide support to the whole team for the RRC annual conference, members site visits, training courses and advisory project work. To support the Centre Administrator in producing and updating membership information and promotional material.
