Job Opportunity: Water Team Leader at Wiltshire Wildlife Trust

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust are currently seeking a passionate, dynamic individual to lead their award winning Water Team. Working across the Hampshire Avon, Bristol Avon and Thames catchments, you will develop and deliver a diverse programme of river and wetland restoration projects. This will continue the successful work improving the ecological health of rivers and wetlands in Wiltshire. This will involve close working with multiple partners and stakeholders across the county.

The Trust is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to lead a committed Team of staff, volunteers and contractors in developing and delivering an exciting programme of projects. Applicants need to demonstrate direct experience of river and wetland habitat improvement and restoration projects, either with a statutory body, NGO, consultancy or specialist contractor.

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust was set up in 1962 to campaign and take action to protect the natural environment. Since then the Trust has grown to become one of the UK’s leading environmental charities, working to create a sustainable future for wildlife and people. The Water Team is leading on several long-running river habitat improvement projects (Wessex Chalk Streams Project, Source to Sea – tackling invasive species), and developing new partnerships and programmes across Wiltshire.
