South East Rivers Trust are looking to recruit 3 staff members to their Delivery Team to help with restoration projects.

Assistant Project Officer

You will be heavily involved in developing and delivering a programme of river restoration and habitat enhancement projects across the South East of England. Working within the Trust’s Delivery Team, you will assist with developing and delivering river restoration and habitat enhancement projects, working on projects throughout all stages including conception, development, design, delivery and monitoring. You will work closely to support the Catchment Team with identifying projects that address priority issues for catchments and facilitate project development and design in collaboration with landowners, stakeholders and other key parties.

Project Officer

You will help develop and deliver a programme of river restoration and habitat enhancement projects across the SERT area.This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing expert team and contribute to our portfolio of ambitious and bold projects based on sound science and best practice. With support from senior staff, you will use your growing experience to lead on projects throughout all stages including conception, development, design, delivery and monitoring. You will work closely to support the Catchment Team with identifying projects that address priority issues for catchments and facilitate project development and design in collaboration with landowners, stakeholders and other key parties. The role will suit a well organised, practical and skilled individual who is keen to build their experience and knowledge working developing and delivering river restoration projects.

Senior Project Officer

You will oversee and lead a programme of capital river restoration and habitat enhancement projects across the SERT area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our growing expert team and to contribute to our portfolio of ambitious and bold projects based on sound science and best practice.

Working within the Trust’s Delivery Team, you will use your previous experience to oversee river and catchment enhancement projects throughout all stages, including conception, development, design, delivery and monitoring. You will work closely with other staff, external partners and stakeholders to identify projects that address priority issues for rivers and their catchments and facilitate project development and design in collaboration with landowners and other key parties. You will lead on the delivery of projects which enhance rivers and their catchments.
