This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and growing charity working to bring rivers back to life.

London’s rivers provide a vital haven for wildlife and people, as well as help our city become more resilient to climate change. Sadly, London’s rivers face an uncertain future, under pressure from a myriad of issues from the urban environment.

The successful applicant will become the face of the Trust’s work on its urban rivers in south London, helping to enhance and restore these vital blue-green corridors. This post will deliver a programme of volunteering events to engage and inspire local people, and lead three of the catchment partnerships in London bringing partners and stakeholders together for the benefit of the river.

By working with both communities and local stakeholders/partners on the ground, this post will be strategically placed to develop and deliver integrated improvements to our urban rivers, their wildlife and the local communities.

The deadline for applications is Friday 19th July at 5pm. For more information on the role, job description and how to apply, please visit the South East Rivers Trust website.
