Stonbury is looking for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join its Delivery Team, overseeing civil engineering works across clean and wastewater sites for Yorkshire Water.
The successful candidate will manage the delivery of complex civil engineering schemes ranging from £100,000 to £5 million, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing civil engineering sites from pre-construction through to completion
- Overseeing the delivery of projects in line with company and client standards
- Conducting site audits and ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality requirements
- Reviewing site documentation, including RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and quality records
- Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Supervising subcontractors and coordinating on-site activities
- Supporting project planning, procurement and commercial activities
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on performance
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing civil engineering construction sites
- SMSTS qualification
- Experience managing permits, site inductions and subcontractors
- Ability to interpret construction drawings
- Temporary Works Supervisor qualification
- Experience reviewing and amending RAMS
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, health and safety, and quality assurance
- Full UK driving licence
