Location: Penrith (office-based), with roles based in the Upper Caldew and North Pennines Fellside catchments
Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum (full-time)
Contract: One post is an 18-month contract (Upper Caldew) with the opportunity to extend; the second post is initially a 3-year contract (Fellside)
Hours: Full-time, with 4 or 5 days per week considered
Eden Rivers Trust is looking for two Agricultural Project Officers to work with farmers, landowners and rural communities to deliver practical, farmer-led projects that benefit both agriculture and the environment.
These exciting roles will focus on improving water quality, restoring freshwater habitats, supporting biodiversity and building resilience to flooding and climate change across targeted catchments.

The successful candidates will have a good understanding of farming systems, excellent communication skills and a passion for rivers, nature recovery and working with rural communities.
