An inclusive event hosted by Norfolk Rivers Trust, Anglian Water and Anglian Central Regional Flood and Coastal Committee

Wider events purpose: Sharing evidence, good practice and helping embed learning at a catchment scale and; Building future relationships between communities, institutes and partnerships

Shared goals for this visit – to be agreed by CP, RFCC, AW, farming/land management community

  1. Showcasing and increasing understanding of integrated constructed wetlands and their applications and benefits for land management, water quality, quantity, climate adaptation, biodiversity and communities
  2. Involve decision makers in identifying opportunities for new schemes and/or helping progress pipeline schemes
  3. Seek agreement to continue discussions to commercialise cost effective practice within organisations/networks and consider in options appraisals
  4. Highlighting what’s involved, what’s possible and enhancing permitting processes to improve confidence, capacity and capability
  5. Connecting to potential future funding sources to fund future schemes
