Next steps for flood and coastal erosion risk management

This conference will examine policy priorities for tackling flooding and coastal erosion.

It looks at plans for flood and climate resilience and adaptation, practical action that can be taken, and physical infrastructure to combat risk.

The conference follows the publication of the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) Strategy for England, the Government’s long-term targets and commitments to protect and restore the environment. Delegates will have the opportunity to assess the strategy and to discuss its implementation.

The conference will be a timely opportunity to consider how policies for flood and coastal erosion risk management dovetail with wider priorities, such as the National Infrastructure Strategy.
