Flood and coastal erosion risk management

This conference will discuss the priorities for flood and coastal erosion risk management, taking place following the publication of the Government’s long-term plan to tackle the risks of flooding and coastal erosion, and the Environment Agency’s National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England.

Areas of discussion include the next steps for implementation, opportunities for collaboration and adapting to a changing climate as the Government sets out its long-term plan to tackle the risks around flooding and coastal erosion. This includes plans to better protect properties by 2027 through creating new flood defences.
