Indices Information
- River Habitat Quality Index (RHQ) is the overall assessment of the river habitat quality representing a combination of the Habitat Modification scores and Habitat Quality Assessment (HQA) scores.
- Habitat Modification Class (HMC) quantifies the extent, potential impact and persistence of engineering structures (e.g., bridges, weirs, re-sectioning, embankments).
- Habitat Quality Assessment (HQA) Class represents the diversity and naturalness of channel features (e.g., bars, pools and riffles).
- Habitat Quality Assessment (HQA) Class represents the diversity and naturalness of channel features (e.g., bars, pools and riffles).
- Riparian Quality Index (RQI) quantifies the complexity, continuity and naturalness of the riparian vegetation.
- Hydromorphological Impact Ratio (HIR) shows the level of departure from natural state (based on assessment of the naturalness of channel substrate, flow regime, vegetation and geomorphic activity).
