This month, we look at the RRC Conference from a consultants perspective with a blog by Suzie Maas from Atkins. More outputs are now available from the conference as well as our Australian River Restoration Seminar. Finally, there's an opportunity to visit a UK River Prize finalist project with our 2016 members site visit series.
This month we look back at the 17th Annual RRC Conference which was attended by 300 delegates! This issue also covers the 2016 UK River Prize which was won by the Rivers Eden, Derwent and Kent. Marc Naura has also joined the RRC team.
This month the UK River Prize finalists have been announced! There are four finalists, one of which will go on to win the Nigel Holmes Trophy on the 26th April at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool. In this edition we also introduce our new River Restoration Adviser, Jasmine Errey.
This special edition looks back at the Catchment Partnership Learning Workshops and looks forward to the site visit at this year's Conference. Elsewhere SEPA has launched a new Natural Flood Management Handbook and the final REFORM Policy Brief has been released.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at the RRC! This month features a look at the completion of Hexham Fish Pass and the release of the River Restoration Adviser job opportunity at the RRC.
This month: bookings are released for the 2016 RRC Conference, the 'Catchment Partnerships capacity building workshops' are announced and we bid farewell and say thanks to Jenny Mant, who after nearly 13 years is leaving the RRC.

This month we release a few more details about next year's conference, including the keynote speaker. Elsewhere, the RRC is looking to employ an Advisory Project Manager and a Community Engagement page has been added to the website. As usual, we also have information, news and events from the river restoration community.
The Summer Special Edition Bulletin includes the call for abstracts for the 17th RRC Annual Network Conference, which will be held in Blackpool. There is also a fitting tribute to Nigel Holmes in a report on Gunthorpe Stream and we introduce two new staff members.
This month we look at two new books, Jeremy Purseglove's Taming the Flood and Mark Everard's River Habitats for Coarse Fish. Elsewhere the European Commission have released a report on ecosystem services and biodiversity and the RRC has added over 400 projects to the UK Projects Map.
This month we look back at the conference which over 250 delegates attended. The outputs are now available online for everyone to view on our conference page. Other items include an update on the Catchment Partnership Action Fund and a look back at our most recent Training Course.
