Advice and maintenance plan for management board of private riverside residential development where bank erosion was causing concern. Work commenced Summer 2010 and included topographic and in-channel survey work, data aquisition, inspection, establishing monitoring regime and reporting.

Tickenhan Nailsea & Kenn Water Level Management Plan Implementation (Completed Date: Jan 2009)

IDB promoted, Defra funded scheme to imrove water quality and reduce winter bed exposure in 750ha wetland SSSI near Clevedon, Somerset. Work commenced 2007 to implement actions in WLMP (also previously prepared for IDB). Project management, NE liaison, grant and consent applications, detail design, landowner liaison, contract management and general administration.

Chartered civil engineer (BSc Loughborough) specialising in all aspects of river engineering and enhancement. Has been employed by consulting engineers, contractors and the public sector. Self employed since 1999 mainly servicing IDBs, conservation bodies and private clients. Particularly enjoys whole project commissions from initial survey through consultations to final commissioning. Fully insured.
