Brightlingsea saltmarsh restoration (Completed Date: Ongoing)

Exo Environmental are providing consultancy and design services for a 4 year project involving the dredging of ~50,000m3 of accumulated sediment, to maintain navigational depth within Brightlingsea Harbour, Essex. The sediment is to be beneficially reused by restoring and creating ~4ha of intertidal mudflat and saltmarsh habitat within Brightlingsea Creek.

Hoveton Broad reed bed restoration (Completed Date: Ongoing)

Exo Environmental are providing consultancy service for a 2 year project involving the dredging of ~50,000m3 of accumulated sediment, to improve the water quality of Hoveton Broad, Norfolk. The sediment is to be stored on site in geotextile tubes and used to create reed bed and marsh habitat.

Baseline monitoring and oceanography (Completed Date: Mar 2016)

Exo Environmental provided monitoring and surveying services to determine the baseline conditions in a tidal estuary. This was focused on oceanography, geomorphology and sediment transport, and involved the production of a hydrodynamic model to predict potential impacts of dispersal dredging.

Mr Coulet has studied land and water management in the Netherlands, specialising in Eco-Hydrology and further studied an Environmental Sciences MSc at the University of East Anglia. With his team, he’s successfully completed several projects in relation to dredging and environmental monitoring and surveying, From bathymetric surveys, to oceanography, sediment transport and geomorphology. Mr Coulet is a qualified waste operator that allows him to assist with dredging projects and the beneficial reuse of sediment.
