Smartphone testers needed for new river app

Monday, June 29, 2015

The Norfolk Rivers Trust has developed a smartphone app through which volunteers can report a variety of river issues, such as littering, invasive species or pollution events. They are now at the testing stage need a handful of volunteers to help them out by trialling it and reporting back with how you get on.

Currently the app is only available for phones running on the Android operating system (Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony, HTC or Huawai) but will be also rolling it out to Apple phones after testing. You don't need any experience or knowledge of phones or technology, in fact the less the better as you can help them to make it easier to use for everyone! If you have an Android phone and can help then please drop Jonathan an email to let him know. He will then add you to a testers list and you will be emailed a link to download the app on your phone. If you're unsure about whether your phone will be suitable then contact Jonathan and he will let you know : jonathan@norfolkriverstrust.org
