Inaugural England River Prize finalists announced

The four finalists are:
Large catchment project, demonstrating a whole river approach to restoration - Wensum, Norfolk nominated by the Environment Agency.
Value for money project, demonstrating cost effective achievements - Bow Brook nominated by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
Multi-partnership project, demonstrating wide ranging involvement in the planning and delivery of restoration - Haltwhistle Burn, Northumberland nominated by the Tyne Rivers Trust.
Multi-benefit project, demonstrating substantial contribution to catchment ecology, the economy and local communities - Wye, Herefordshire nominated by the Wye and Usk Foundation.

The overall winner of the England River Prize will be announced on the 7th May at the evening dinner of our 15th annual network conference.
