Stock and Waterways: Australian River Restoration Centre guide

Twelve years since they first published the guide, the Australian River Restoration Centre have released an updated Stock and Waterways: a NSW Managers Guide.

In 2006, Land and Water Australia released the 'Stock and Waterways: A Manager's Guide'. Due to it's popularity, the guide was reprinted three times and has become a key practitioner reference document. 

Twelve years later, they are delighted that their partners WaterNSW have joined with them through the Rivers of Carbon Program to update the document into 'Stock and Waterways: A NSW Manager's Guide'.

The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) has published guidance on fish conservation for planners, developers, local authority officers and consultants, with the goal of improving fish conservation in the Tidal Thames region, encompassing all Local Authorities adjoining the River Thames between Teddington Lock and Gravesend.

RAFTS release ‘Managing River Restoration’ library of guidance notes

The Rivers and Fisheries Trusts of Scotland have published a series of guidance notes entitled ‘Managing River Restoration: Gearing Up For The Management of River Restoration’. 

These documents will help to equip organisations with the necessary tools for the governance and management of river restoration projects, particularly those that utilise public funds.  These guidance notes are intended to promote good practice in this field and outline the procedural requirements that organisations should have in place before embarking on a river restoration project.
