A Step to the Future…Water and Environmental Management 2050

This conference will explore the major issues, risks and requirements for the UK relating to water challenges, funding policies as well as politics, waste and innovative technologies, so CIWEM can understand how, in its role as an independent, evidence-led professional membership body, work most effectively with the UK government and key organisations in achieving technical excellence and a strong sustainable future for water and environmental management.

CIWEM look to guide the industry by collaboration with the key industry stakeholders through the development of holistic and innovative approaches to water and environmental management for the upcoming decades. In order to do so, the institution is keen to ascertain from the wider sector a view of how imperative sustainable development and future proofing all aspects will create an environmental legacy in which the next generation, their contemporaries and offspring may flourish for the benefit of the whole of our society.
