RRC Member Site Visit to The Pearls in Peril Project

Join us as we visit the Pearls in Peril Project at Braemar on the River Dee, in Aberdeenshire. This project was a finalist as the winner of the 'Partnership & Multiple Benefit Project' category in the 2017 UK River Prize.

Pearls in Peril (PiP is a large and complex LIFE+ Nature project with 22 partners working together throughout Great Britain to restore river habitats for freshwater pearl mussels and their host salmonids. Scottish Natural Heritage and Dee District Salmon Fishery Board will show us a few sites around Braemar including woodland creations sites and Car Bank and Slugain Burn.

The visit is FREE to RRC members. If space is available, non-members are welcome to attend at a cost of £30. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To book a place please email us: pipvisit@rrc.co.uk,booking closes on May 31st or when all spaces are allocated.
