These is rising interest in the use of accounting frameworks to understand the value of the natural environment across the UK. 'Natural capital accounts' and 'ecosystem accounts' have already been produced for landowners, protected landscapes and local authorities in various parts of the UK. Environmental and natural resource professionals need to know about this emerging area of innovation in informing strategic decisions related to the environment.

These seminars will introduce the process of accounting for the value of the natural environment at the local and landscape scale.
