Following the success of the 2017 conference 'Urban Rivers and Streams: assets or pollution pathways' CIWEM will be holding our 2018 conference on 18th July in Central London.

This event will present innovative case studies, collaborative approaches and facilitate discussion on the scale of the issue and current progress on both rural and urban diffuse pollution.

The call for abstracts is now open for content for the conference. CIWEM welcome papers addressing the following areas (but not exclusively):

  • Emerging trends
  • Policy drivers
  • Innovative case studies
  • Cost effective practice

All abstracts should be concise and state results, objectives or key components of the paper. They should not exceed 500 words and should contain a list of intended presenter(s) clearly separate from authors and email addresses for all involved. A maximum of two presenters for each paper is allowed.

An electronic copy (in doc format) must be submitted before the deadline - 5pm on Friday January 25th 2018. Email submissions to sophie@ciwem.org
