A decade on from the publication of the Pitt Review, this conference will provide an evaluation of the progress of flood risk management, resilience and response in the UK and critically examine the Reporter's recommendations.
Drawing from the 2016 National Resilience Review, 25 Year Plan for the Environment and the National Adaptation Programme the conference will consider the readiness of the UK for extreme rainfall events modelled to occur 20-30% more frequently in our changing climate and 1 in 6 homes at major risk of flooding.
